This recipe is a Californian twist on the breakfast dish, Egg in the Hole. Instead of using bread, I used a thick slice of avocado. Yum!
** RECIPE
– 1 Hass avocado
– 4 eggs
– Olive oil
– Sea salt and pepper to taste
Prep time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 10 minutes

FACT: All Hass avocado trees descend from a single “mother tree” raised by a mail carrier named Rudolph Hass, of La Habra Heights, California.
FACT: It’s a mystery to what species the Hass tree actually descends from. Rudolph Hass patented his tree back in 1935 which died of root rot in September of 2002.
Avocado Facial Mask
1 avocado
1 egg yolk
1 tsp olive oil
1 tbs warm honey
TIP: Lift up the avocado slice using a spatula while cracking the egg into the center with one hand.
EDIT: Cook the egg for about 3 to 4 minutes total, despite my lack of math skills in the video.
